This week, Fleet, Campus and Safety Director Rob Spolsino delivered the 2005 JR rowing shell trailer to MO Trailers in Indiana for a much needed refresh. This trailer has served our high school rowing program reliably since its purchase, carrying our fleet of shells to and from regattas and training trips for almost 2 decades. The trailer will be updated with side loading racks which will do away with the arduous process of threading boats centrally, and catwalks for safe boat handling on the upper levels. The plywood flooring is getting replaced with composite decking, and all of the running gear and wiring will be gone over thoroughly and replaced if needed. We are thrilled that MO Trailers, the premier rowing shell trailer manufacturer in the US, was willing to perform this work for us. The quality of their craftsmanship can clearly be seen in how well the trailer has held up to this point, and we are excited to get many more years of use out of it.
